Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous due to her roles in films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The movie Piano won her several awards which included an Oscar. The accomplished actress started her career in acting by performing on stage, with an array of Broadway and Off-Broadway projects. The actress has had a passion for acting ever since when she was in the school. Her first role in a production in fifth grade was in Helen Keller. The mumps that she contracted left her deaf and blind in one ear. But she refused to let that to stop her from becoming an actress. After studying drama in college after which she relocated to New York City with her ambitions with her sights set. Hunter was stuck in the elevator of playwright Beth Henley when she met her. Together they created Broadway Crimes of the Heart which marked Hunter's Broadway debut. The first time she appeared in a film was when she moved in Los Angeles. For the past 30 years, she has appeared on numerous TV shows and films. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and the Women in Film Lucy Award.
